By providing opportunities in 4 different core activity areas we believe we can provide you with an interesting and fulfilling volunteer experience.
Our Core Activity Areas:
- Web Development – includes monitoring and updating website(s) and social media pages, project management and developing plans and strategies for ongoing web and social media presence
- Education – primary responsibility is to develop lesson plans on Celtic history, culture and heritage to be used as supplementary materials in New Brunswick’s public education system; secondary responsibility is to work with Celtic culture resources to develop plans and strategies for general public education
- Celtic Culture – develops and implements opportunities to engage the general public, heritage groups and public schools in Celtic related activities including festivals, individual cultural activities (Ceilis, lectures, instruction, etc.). Primary focus is on the continued growth of province-wide activities for New Brunswick’s annual Celtic Awareness Week.
- Economic Development & Tourism – cultivates new and existing relationships with business entities in New Brunswick, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and North America’s “Celtic Corridor” (as defined for our purposes as Ontario, Quebec, the Atlantic provinces and the New England States) for the purpose of mutual economic, social and cultural benefit.
